Job summary

JCB, Inc. in Pooler, GA is seeking a Power Products Technical Specialist to provide real-time technical support to technicians in the field and ensure high equipment availability for rental customers.

Based in San Antonio, TX or Savannah, GA with occasional travel across North America up to 15%. The role requires strong diagnostic skills on power generation equipment, the ability to read electrical schematics, and experience with large rental fleets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in power generation and internal combustion engine equipment.
• Ability to read advanced electrical schematics and control logic.
• Experience with large rental fleets preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate technical information to customers to support generator diagnostics and repair.
• Maintain high response rates to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Travel to support technical customer issues and provide product training.
• Analyze warranty claims to identify product concerns.
• Prioritize quality concerns for resolution with manufacturing and engineering.
• Drive conformance to JCB standards for service closure and field actions.
• Communicate with global service teams on common concerns and resolutions.
• Support testing of failed components to gather detailed failure data.
• Communicate product field actions via bulletins, updates, emails and calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
