Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to supply power for Army operations and perform preventive maintenance on generation equipment.

You’ll replace regulators, governors, or circuit cards and adjust frequencies and voltages using technical publications to improve efficiency. Training includes Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training with classroom and field time.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet citizenship requirements and pass a physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on tactical utility, power-generation sets and related equipment.
• Assist in adjusting frequencies and voltages to optimize equipment efficiency.
