Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to maintain and repair power-generation systems for military operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, replace regulators, governors, and circuit cards, and adjust frequencies using technical publications.

This role offers training and the chance to earn while you learn. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and around 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, combining classroom and field work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow technical publications.
• Experience using hand and power tools is helpful.
• Interest in electricity and large machinery is important.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on tactical utility power-generation sets and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and replace components as needed.
