Job summary

DC Army National Guard are seeking a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer to support military operations by maintaining and repairing power-generation equipment. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, replace components, and adjust voltages to ensure reliable electricity in the field and in training environments.

Training includes Basic and Advanced Individual Training; you’ll earn a paycheck during training, with tuition assistance and extensive benefits such as health care, retirement, and loan

Qualifications

• Experience with power-generation equipment and associated electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on tactical utility and power-generation sets; replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards.
• Adjust frequencies and voltages per technical publications to improve efficiency.
