Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced leader to manage a team of Industrial Control System Engineers, Technical Specialists and Consultants across fossil, hydro, solar, wind facilities. You will guide studies, analytics, and engineering packages to keep plants running efficiently.

You will partner with Power Generation leadership to develop future project strategies, oversee outages, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of engineering theories and principles with ability to teach them.
• Develop and implement system-wide strategic initiatives with business impact.
• Monitor and coordinate engineering and technical resources for projects and outages.
• Prepare financial justification for projects.
• Coordinate with site project managers, outage planning, and station leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineers in developing engineering project packages.
• Supervise engineers as they troubleshoot power plant problems.
• Provide consultation, PES configuration, inspection, and testing recommendations; review scopes, bids, and vendor reports.
• Lead development of strategies for support and update of instrument/ control systems.
• Ensure regulatory and program compliance across projects and facilities.
• Provide technical support for PES interfaces and digital protective relays.
• Develop and review specifications, work scopes, bids, test procedures, alarm responses, and commissioning plans.
