Job summary

Dominion Energy Virginia seeks a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance at Chesterfield Power Station in Chester, VA. You will work with seasoned professionals across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services.

Responsibilities include inspections, data analysis, project research, and process-improvement contributions to enhance station reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program with graduation expected in 2028 or 2029.
• Preference for Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Must have a 2.5 GPA or above.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment inspections and daily plant activities.
• Collect and analyze operational data to support decisions.
• Assist with project research and process-improvement efforts.
• Contribute to station reliability and performance initiatives.
• Learn and apply engineering concepts in a power-generation setting.
