Job summary

Puget Sound Energy’s Generation Electrical & Controls team seeks an Electrical Engineer with experience in Industrial Processes and Controls, Protective Relaying, electrical maintenance, asset management or related fields. The role involves design reviews, project management, and field work across WA and MT regions, including wind and solar projects.

The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid setting, support commissioning, and ensure compliance with NERC and industry standards while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or PE license in electrical, mechanical, civil or other appropriate engineering field.
• Experience in planning, design, specification preparation, technical field work, project cost estimating and scheduling.
• Organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and/or modifies guidelines for application to problems.
• Reviews and verifies complex designs, standards, studies and analyses.
• Prepares cost estimates and project evaluations with minimal supervision.
• Plans and develops project budgets with proper documentation.
• Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and design, operation, and maintenance requirements.
• May lead or coordinate junior engineers and field technicians on projects.
