Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Denver seeks a Design Manager / Senior Engineer with power generation experience to lead the design process and coordinate multi-discipline teams. With 15+ years in large projects, you will guide technical content, ensure schedule and budget alignment, and collaborate with the Project Manager and clients on change management.

REQUIREMENTS include a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited), 15+ years of experience, and a PE license or plan to obtain within 1 year; experience

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant power generation design experience
• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Natural gas power generation experience
• ABET-accredited engineering degree (mechanical, control systems, electrical, structural, or related)
• Experience designing reciprocating engine, simple cycle, combined cycle, and/or CHP plants

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical portion of the design process
• Ensure cross-discipline communications and coordination
• Coordinate schedules and implement the quality control plan
• Communicate design issues to the Project Manager and other stakeholders
• Assist the Project Manager with client engagement on change management requirements
