NES Fircroft is seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer for power-generation projects in the Greater Atlanta area. You will design DCS/PLC control cabinets, develop I/O lists, and specify hardware for robust control systems supporting gas turbines and other power-generation applications.

Responsibilities include reviewing customer specs, performing heat-load calculations, creating installation documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Competenze

• Experience designing industrial control panels or control cabinets.
• Working knowledge of DCS/PLC hardware and analog/digital I/O.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and I/O lists.
• Understanding of cabinet heat-load calculations and power distribution.

Mansioni

• Design DCS and PLC control cabinets for power-generation projects.
• Review customer specifications and identify project requirements and risks.
• Develop I/O lists and perform I/O channel allocation.
• Select PLC/DCS hardware, I/O cards, power supplies, and cabinet components.

• Support site surveys, design reviews, FATs, installation, and commissioning.
• Integrate third-party systems with DCS and PLC platforms.
