Halian International is seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer in Alpharetta, GA for a 12-month contract-to-hire. The role requires designing control cabinets and selecting PLC/DCS hardware with hands-on expertise in I/O systems and electrical design calculations.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, and may involve periodic onsite reviews and FATs. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD Electrical experience and an engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or

Competenze

Experience in controls hardware and control cabinet design.
Hands-on PLC or DCS hardware and I/O systems.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

Mansioni

Design and develop control cabinets and controls hardware systems.
Select and integrate PLC/DCS hardware, I/O cards, and related components.
Perform heat-load, electrical, and other engineering design calculations.
Develop and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
Support hardware design reviews, testing, and FATs.
Work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project and technical requirements.
Support occasional periods of 5-day onsite work for design reviews, FATs, and other project needs.
