Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Coordinator to support diverse construction projects within an industrial/power generation setting. You will serve as the central hub among project managers, contractors, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure safe, efficient execution and compliance with site requirements.

Responsibilities include tracking labor, materials, and schedules, coordinating permits, and maintaining project documentation while upholding a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of hands-on construction experience supporting industrial, utility, power, or manufacturing projects.
• Experience coordinating field activities involving multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and hazard recognition.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and drawings.
• Experience supporting electrical, mechanical, and/or civil construction projects.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between project managers, contractors, vendors, and plant personnel.
• Attend and document construction, scheduling, and project progress meetings.
• Conduct and participate in daily job safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with safety inspections, hazard identification, and enforcement of site safety requirements.
• Monitor work activities and support stop-work actions when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Track project labor, equipment, materials, and contractor productivity.
• Maintain and manage construction permits and related project documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries, vendor access, and material staging activities.
• Support project schedules by helping resolve field issues and communication gaps.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and P&IDs to support project execution.
• Ensure project documentation is current, organized, and compliant with company standards.
