Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an Associate Technical Services Specialist to ensure cloud-hosted apps are reliable, secure, and production-ready. You will combine cloud engineering, QA, DevOps, and automation to improve how software is developed and operated.

You will partner with developers and tech teams to automate testing, deployments, and observability while reducing manual work and accelerating service restoration. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
0+ years of related experience in technical services or cloud engineering.
Engineering background and readiness to work across cloud, DevOps, and QA.

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize cloud-hosted apps and environments across dev, test, and prod.
Design, maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
Develop reusable testing frameworks and improve coverage for cloud apps.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery patterns to ensure reliability.
Monitor performance, observability, and issue prevention across systems.
Lead incident analysis and preventative controls for production readiness.
