Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a PowerGeneration Quality Control Technician — Test to inspect and test manufactured generator systems for electrical code compliance and functional operation. The role requires handling gear safely on-site with potential outdoor work and limited travel.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or relevant experience, knowledge of NFPA70E, and ability to document test results and specifications accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; related experience can substitute for diploma.
• NFPA70E is required (Can be provided by PowerSecure if other requirements are satisfactory).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and written directions.
• Ability to document test results and product specifications clearly.

Responsibilities

• Locate and track documentation for specific jobs.
• Run procedural tests and inspections in an organized format.
• Load files and test sequences as noted in project CD set notes.
• Accurately record test results and component specs.
• Move gear with forklift or pallet jack.
• Removal and reinstallation of panels up to 50 lb.
• Work outside for extended periods; environmental hazards may be present.
• Limited local travel (<10%).
