Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Roanoke Rapids, NC to lead capital power generation projects from conception to completion. The role covers budgeting, scheduling, safety, and environmental compliance, with potential field work and mobilization.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, excellent communication, and broad knowledge of project management processes across multiple sites. The position is an 11-month contract with per diem and MOB options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management and leadership within assigned project areas.
• Experience with hydroelectric generation or power generation projects preferred.
• Ability to manage projects within time, cost, quality, and scope constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects including technical execution, construction, quality, cost, schedule, and safety.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to align with scope and objectives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and project success.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance as a primary focus for all personnel.
