Harnish Group Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate personnel, tasks, and materials for successful engine sale delivery and startup. This role manages multiple projects through various stages, requiring strong time management and organizational skills, with close collaboration with sales, vendors, and customers.

You will oversee submittals, procurement, commissioning, and documentation, while maintaining project finances and ensuring customer satisfaction. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management or related tech fields.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and generator sets is desired.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe is strongly preferred.
• Up to 20% travel to job sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EPG projects including submittals, procurement, construction, installation and startup.
• Control finances and maintain financial health of a managed project.
• Ensure customer/end user satisfaction.
• Provide engineering and application support to field service technicians, sales reps and customers.
• Respond to engine customer technical needs and questions.
• Review project documents for compliance with specs.
