Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Generator Project Engineer to provide technical project management, direction, and coordination of engineering activities for all assigned Generator projects. The role liaises with customers and EPCs to ensure design documentation and equipment meet contract requirements and drives improvements in project execution.

You will travel ~10% and lead design and cross-functional teams, managing budgets, schedules, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering related to Generator Projects (or 5 years experience with a high school diploma/GED).

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous improvement and act as single point contact for customer technical inquiries, change requests, and communications for generator topics.
• Drive lessons learned back into design engineering to avoid repeating issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Applications/Regional Customer Applications Engineering.
• Conduct CKOMs or DLMs with customers and EPCs.
• Review contract documentation and communicate project requirements to design functions.
