Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Power Foundations to direct civil and foundation scopes for transmission line and substation projects. You will lead drilling, concrete, site development, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams on a field-based environment.

The role oversees complex projects valued up to $10M, with emphasis on safety, schedule, budget, and quality, while building strong client relationships across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience managing construction projects in civil, foundation, transmission, or substation work.
• Experience with project management software (Primavera, HCSS, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout phases.
• Manage foundation and civil construction scopes, including drilled piers, spread footings, and site development.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material logistics.
• Track and manage project costs, forecasts, schedules, and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to align execution strategies.
• Identify constructability challenges, geotechnical risks, and logistical constraints.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout project lifecycle.
• Promote and exemplify Michels’ safety-first culture.
