Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Project Manager – Power Foundations to lead civil and foundation scopes for transmission line and substation projects, including drilled foundations and site development.

This field-based role requires managing phase of large projects or multiple medium-sized ones with budgets from $500K to $10M. You will coordinate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams, supervise crews and subcontractors, and uphold Michels’ safety-first culture while delivering projects

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in PM, CM, Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience managing construction projects.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (Primavera, HCSS, or similar).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and commit to long-term onsite assignments.

Aufgaben

• Lead projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout phases.
• Manage foundation and civil construction scopes, including drilled pier and caisson foundations, spread footings, and structural concrete.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material logistics.
• Track and manage project costs, forecasts, schedules, and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to align execution strategies.
• Identify and mitigate constructability challenges, geotechnical risks, and logistical constraints.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout project lifecycle.
• Promote and exemplify Michels’ safety-first culture.
