Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Power Foundations to lead civil and foundation scopes for transmission line and substation projects, including drilled foundations and site development.

This role requires strong field-based leadership and coordination of diverse crews and subcontractors. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in PM/CM/Engineering with 5–7 years of construction management experience in civil, foundation, transmission, or substation work, and be willing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM/CM/Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience in civil, foundation, transmission, or substation work.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to long-term onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout phases.
• Manage foundation and civil construction scopes, including drilled pier foundations, spread footings, and site development.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
• Oversee field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material logistics.
• Track costs, forecasts, schedules, and productivity metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams.
• Identify and mitigate constructsability and geotechnical risks.
• Maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
