Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a Power and Energy Attorney to join our Legal team in the United States. You will draft, review, and negotiate PPAs, interconnection agreements, ESAs, and related energy contracts for data-center projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience in utility transactions, strong knowledge of energy markets and regulatory frameworks, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams across development,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4–8 years of legal experience focused on utility/power transactions.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, utility regulations, and interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate PPAs, interconnection, CIAC, ESAs, and other energy-related agreements.
• Provide legal support for power development, utility infrastructure, energy procurement, and grid connectivity.
• Advise on federal, state, and local energy regulations and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across development, finance, engineering, operations and leadership.
