Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Project Controls Manager to join the Project Controls team supporting Power & Energy programs. The role can sit in Las Vegas, NV or South Jordan, UT and leads cost analysts, schedulers, risk managers, and document control specialists.

You will develop schedules, manage EVM practices, and create advanced Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights for executives and clients. Requires 12+ years in financial controls and PMP/EVM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field with leadership in financial controls and scheduling.
• 12+ years in financial controls, finance/accounting, and scheduling on large capital projects.
• Power & Energy industry experience preferred, transmission/substation focus.
• Project management experience; PMP or equivalent preferred.
• Strong EVM, cost forecasting, and schedule management knowledge.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Adobe a plus.
• Experience with PMIS platforms (e-Builder, Oracle EBS, Maximo, Procore, Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance, schedule, and document controls across power delivery programs.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of cost analysts, schedulers, and risk managers.
• Create and monitor program schedules; review contractor schedules for issues.
• Develop project controls processes, change management, and reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and EVM practices.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics for leadership decisions.
• Administer PMIS tools and track acquisition packages for reimbursements.
• Produce progress reports for the Program Manager and PMO for executives.
• Oversee vendor selection, contract review, and regulatory compliance.
