Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join our Project Controls team, with seating options in Texas, Utah, Nevada, or Tennessee. The role focuses on building Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and rigorous data analysis to support cost, schedule, and performance reporting.

You will standardize KPI tracking, support budgeting and EVM, and manage PMIS platforms while collaborating with the PMO and program teams to deliver clear executive-level summaries and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for KPI visibility across cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Develop Power Apps solutions for streamlined data collection, approvals, and workflow automation across project controls.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and decision-making.
• Standardize reporting templates and KPI tracking frameworks across projects to ensure data integrity feeding into dashboards.
• Produce regular progress reports for the Program Manager and PMO, translating project data into executive-level summaries.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections; support earned value management (EVM) tracking.
• Administer cost management/PMIS platforms (e.g., e-Builder, Procore, or similar) and support tracking of acquisition packages and invoicing.
• Monitor contractor/schedule data and flag discrepancies for PM review; support vendor selection and change order management.
