Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Menomonee Falls, WI, is seeking a Power Electronics Engineering Specialist to lead development and testing of advanced power conversion technologies. You will engage with national labs, universities, and customers to drive technology programs and translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.

The role reports to the Technology Manager for the PE group and requires a PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience, plus strong simulator and ML/DL knowledge.

Qualifications

PhD degree in related field from an accredited institution.
5+ years of industrial or entrepreneurial experience.

Responsibilities

As a technical leader, create emerging power conversion & power system solutions based on breakthrough technologies for industrial, automotive, truck, and aerospace applications.
Lead and develop technology projects by supporting teams (local and remote resources) and working with external technology resources (Business Divisions, Universities and Customers).
Advance state of the art power electronics, power systems, and power converter technologies, and identify and develop commercialization opportunities with diverse Eaton businesses.
Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary globally distributed teams, lead specific task within the scope of work and provide updates to project manager.
