Job summary

Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in a high-volume power electronics assembly environment. You will oversee ~3 leads and ~40 assemblers, ensure safety, schedule attainment, and quality while coordinating with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Test, Maintenance, and Materials to sustain production flow.

Responsibilities include labor planning, WIP management, line balancing, testing coordination, and post-shift security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 3+ years in manufacturing with at least 1+ year leading people.
• Experience leading 60 assembler/span similar team.
• Knowledge of ESD controls and standard work adherence.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, BOMs, and production docs.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving and cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP/MES and dashboards; quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift of ~3 leads and ~40 assemblers; assign labor per plan and matrix.
• Ensure safety, schedule attainment, and test quality.
• Support planning, quality, engineering, maintenance, and materials to maintain flow.
• Coordinate testing, containment, and rework; drive recovery actions.
• Ensure travelers and records are accurate and audit-ready.
• Maintain materials flow, kitting, FIFO, and traceability; escalate shortages.
• Drive 5S, standard work, and kaizen; support change implementation.
• Provide end-of-shift security and overall shift oversight.
