Job summary
Eaton Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote). Relocation is supported and sponsorship is offered for US candidates.
You will support the product development and design of high‑power three‑phase UPS, energy storage, and medium‑voltage products from concept through production within a global, multidisciplinary team.
The expected annual salary range is $94,000–$138,000.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering with power electronics experience.
- 3+ years in power electronics design, testing, or validation (Master's with 1+ year acceptable).
- Experience with high‑power three‑phase systems and lab testing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop products from concept to production meeting specs, safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Collaborate with global teams to design UPS, energy storage, and MV products.
- Create and maintain functional specifications aligned with customer and product management.
- Review data and simulate circuits (power electronics, analog, digital) and drive design rigor.
- Interface with vendors and support DVT, validation, and prototype delivery.
