Job summary

A Japanese electronics manufacturer near Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Sales Account Representative to support their business development operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Marketing, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, prior B2B sales or account management experience, and working knowledge of electronics and circuit board technology.

This is a full-time, direct-hire role with company-paid health, dental, and vision insurances, 401k, PTO, and hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of prior B2B sales or account management experience.
• Professional, with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel 25-50% nationwide; international travel may be required.
• Familiarity with electronics, semiconductors, and circuit board technology is a plus.
• Japanese language ability is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a network of prospective customer accounts to produce new sales leads.
• Prospect new clients and build strong business relationships.
• Connect with existing accounts in automotive and manufacturing industries to identify needs and offer solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position the company competitively.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers.
• Travel regularly to visit clients and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Provide excellent customer service at every stage of the sales process.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality departments on product changes and custom orders.
• Maintain customer files, sales reports, part number files, and pricing.
