Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry‑level engineer to support our expanding power distribution projects. The role blends office and field work, offering hands‑on experience and training in project design, data entry, and client workflows.

You will develop foundational knowledge of project requirements, working with designers and engineers to prepare drawings, estimates, and material lists while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• High school diploma or GED (Associates may be required for certain projects).
• 0–2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of project packages including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using company and client design software.
• Prepare project and job packages with drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Engage in continuous learning and mentorship from experienced team members and Professional Engineers.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
