Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2–4 years of manufacturing experience—ideally assembling medium/large metal enclosures or electrical switchgear.
  • Proficient with tape-measure reading and conversions (fraction/decimal; metric/imperial).
  • Basic English literacy (written and verbal) and desktop computing.
  • Safe operation of hand/power tools; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • MES fundamentals; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build mechanical assemblies for switchgear/breakers exactly to spec.
  • Maintain tools; use hand/power tools safely and effectively.
  • Run in-process inspections; apply standard work and surface quality risks.
  • Track shortages and keep production moving.
  • Execute ship-prep activities, including splitting gear, to meet delivery targets.
  • Contribute to root-cause analysis on engineering changes and drive discrepancy corrections.
  • Support a small team at the direction of a lead assembler/supervisor.
  • Complete final in-process inspections and mechanical adjustments for switchgear.
  • Champion safety, attend safety meetings, and keep workspace clean and organized.
  • Adhere to manufacturing policies and ISO requirements.
