Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in utility engineering or electrical distribution design.
• Experience designing or supporting both overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
• Experience with power-system studies (load-flow, short-circuit, protection-coordination).
• Experience with power-system modelling or analysis software (CYME, ETAP, PSS E).
• Ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems (4kV–35kV).
• Perform power-system studies including load-flow, short-circuit, and protection-coordination.
• Prepare construction drawings, design packages, material lists, and cost estimates.
• Support programs involving system reliability improvements, grid expansion, and new services.
• Ensure designs comply with NESC, IEEE, and client standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, utilities, municipalities, and regulators.
• Support permitting and regulatory requirements throughout execution.
• Maintain engineering documentation and project records.
