  • Prepare construction packages, design drawings, BOMs, and material/cost estimates.
  • Utilize engineering design software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, PLS‑CADD, O‑Calc, SpidaCalc, and/or Pole Foreman.
  • Conduct technical studies including power flow, voltage drop, load evaluation, fault analysis, and device coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with NESC, NEC, RUS, utility‑specific design standards, environmental requirements, and safety criteria.
  • Partner with project management, construction, permitting, and utility stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain design accuracy.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, peer reviews, and quality oversight to junior engineers and design personnel.
  • Participate in field walkdowns, design validations, and construction support when needed.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills, making them an invaluable asset to our team and ensuring the smooth, compliant execution of key construction projects.
