Job summary

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred AA or equivalent; bachelor’s in non-engineering science, math, or business.
• Associate or 4-year degree may be required per client/project.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes, standards, regulations, and guidelines; maintain records.
• Develop moderately difficult site designs for electrical distribution facilities.
• Create safe, cost-effective designs for overhead/underground projects.
• Prepare project packages with materials lists and drawings.
• Coordinate with construction personnel and clients to resolve issues.
• Communicate schedules, feasibility, and expectations with clients.
• Apply reliability principles for safe, cost-effective designs.
• Develop relationships with internal/external customers and train others.
• Perform field work to validate requirements and assist storm response.
