Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking an entry-level engineer-support role in Fort Mill, SC. You will work closely with the Engineering team, performing office and field work to design safe, reliable power distribution solutions.

You will learn to interpret designs, enter data accurately, and support with drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using company workflows and software. This role emphasizes learning and growth, with on-site duties required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: HS diploma or GED; some projects may require an Associate degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project design & preparation: drawings, material lists, estimates, requisitions using company and client tools.
• Develop technical field knowledge and prepare comprehensive project packages.
• Provide regular project status updates and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Engage in ongoing learning and mentorship with experienced team members and engineers.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.

Education
