Job summary

Pike Engineering in Greenville, SC is seeking a Power Engineering Technologist (On‑Site) to support the engineering team with advanced technical input on distribution projects. The role requires independent application of design workflows to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective solutions.

Responsibilities include developing distribution designs, preparing project packages, collaborating with clients, performing field assessments, and supporting storm restoration while prioritizing safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some projects may require an associate degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in utility power distribution engineering or related craft work.

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately complex overhead and underground distribution designs per codes and client requirements.
• Prepare complete project packages including materials lists, requisitions, and drawings.
• Collaborate with construction teams, clients, and customers on design issues and loading considerations.
• Perform field assessments to validate system conditions and customer needs.
• Support safety policies and participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
