Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Production Assembler for the 2nd shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role is responsible for building sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and transformers, following SOPs and ensuring quality through inspections.

The position requires crane operation, use of hand and power tools, 5S+ practices, and adherence to safety standards. VPI tanks and oven work are part of the process, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and bills of materials.
• Experience in production, packaging or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and assemblies according to SOPs.
• Operate cranes to move transformers and materials.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools during assembly.
• Conduct point-to-point wiring for Power Distribution Units and related components.
