Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Production Assembler for 1st Shift. You will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and transformers, following SOPs, using fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools, and performing basic wiring.

The role is 40 hours weekly with overtime potential, hours 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Benefits and a 401(k) plan are offered on day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specs.
• Follow SOPs to assemble components.
• Use cranes to move transformers and materials.
• Perform point-to-point wiring for Power Distribution Units.
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality compliance.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety rules.
