Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Production Assembler on the 1st Shift. Hours are 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with a 40-hour work week and potential overtime.

The role offers full benefits and a 401(k) on day one, with a general guideline salary of $24.75 per hour depending on experience. The assembler will build sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and transformers, following SOPs, using cranes and tools, and ensuring quality through inspections and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Use cranes to pick up and move transformers and materials.
• Visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble or adjust.
• Perform point-to-point wiring during the assembly of Power Distribution Units.
• Work with sheet metal to build transformer legs and components.
• Operate oven and VPI tanks as part of the assembly process.
• Inspect completed assemblies and adjust to meet quality standards.
• Adhere to safety rules and environmental guidelines.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Ensure machines and tools are calibrated and perform 5S+ housekeeping.
