Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) invites applications for adjunct instructors in Electrical Power Distribution. Instructors teach in classroom, lab, or online settings, and must live within driving distance of CVTC campuses in Wisconsin. Adjuncts are hired per course to meet ongoing needs and opportunities.

Successful candidates will plan, deliver, and assess coursework, collaborate with colleagues, and support a diverse student body. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a Lineworker Apprenticeship program.
  • Technical diploma in Electrical Power Distribution with 4 years of occupational experience OR an associate’s degree in any area with a technical diploma in Electrical Power Distribution with 2 years of occupational experience.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures common to the electric line industry.
  • Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
  • Experience operating Digger Derrick truck, bucket truck, backhoe, trencher, plow, skid loader.
