Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach Gas Utility Construction & Service courses. Instructors may teach face-to-face, online, or hybrid sessions and must reside within driving distance of CVTC campuses in Eau Claire,WI and surrounding cities.

Adjunct roles are per-course, emphasizing maintaining professional currency, delivering high-quality instruction, and using technology to support learning.

Formación

• Associate's degree in a related area OR an associate's degree in any area with a technical diploma in a related area.
• Minimum of 2 years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience in the gas utility and construction industry, with at least 1 year (2,000 hours) within 5 years prior to hire.
• One year (2,000 hours) of related occupational experience may be waived if the instructor has 2 years of post-secondary teaching experience in the field within 5 years prior to hire.
• Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• This position may include teaching online and requires expertise in integrating technology.
• Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.

• Deliver high-quality instruction through planning and implementation of effective learning strategies and environments.
• Create performance-based assessments aligned with competencies through formative and summative measures.
• Promote student success through timely communication and growth-based feedback.
• Meet professional expectations by maintaining professional currency and contributing to a collaborative culture across the College.
