Job summary

Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is building a pool of qualified adjunct and substitute instructors for Advanced CNC Machining & Design courses. Positions are available to teach face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats, with hours varying by department needs.

Instructors must live within driving distance to CVTC campuses, including Eau Claire. Applicants should have an associate degree or higher, relevant occupational experience, and teaching credentials per CVTC standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in an area preparing a person for the occupational area being taught.
• Minimum of 2 years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience in the program(s) being taught, with at least 1 year (2,000 hours) within 5 years prior to hire.
• One year (2,000 hours) of recent related occupational experience may be waived if the candidate has at least 2 years of post-secondary teaching experience in the field within 5 years prior to hire.
• Must meet CVTC requirements and applicable licensing standards.

• Plan for and instruct courses in Advanced CNC Machining & Design.
• Implement relevant and progressive curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality instruction with effective learning strategies and environments.
• Create performance-based assessments aligned with competencies.
• Promote student success through timely communication and growth-based feedback.
• Maintain professional currency and contribute to a collaborative college culture.
