Job summary

WSP seeks a Power Delivery Project Manager to lead day-to-day engineering project execution across Substation, Transmission and Distribution initiatives in the United States. The PM will drive cost, schedule, and performance management, forecast accuracy, and risk mitigation while partnering with clients and executives to promote accountability and excellence.

Based in a WSP local office with hybrid work options, the PM will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, governance artifacts, and milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, PMP considered.
• Minimum 10+ years in project management for power/utility.
• Experience with EPC delivery and high/extra-high voltage projects.
• Knowledge of project management processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for development, execution, and monitoring of substation, transmission, and distribution projects in the US.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and performance management with detailed forecasting and reporting.
• Lead client discussions and develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and compliance with utility standards.
• Coordinate with area managers, technical leads, and vendors to meet project needs.
• Maintain governance documents: PMP, QP, PSP, and risk registers.
• Manage accounts receivable, cash flow, and project financial health.
• Lead kick-off, safety, and execution alignment meetings.
