United Utility Services is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design organization and provide technical oversight of project execution. You will manage workload, mentor staff, ensure client requirements and quality standards are met, and drive high performance.

This primarily office-based role includes occasional field visits to client facilities and job sites. You will collaborate with project managers and engineering leadership, promote safety, continuous improvement, and a culture of

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of design experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong understanding of project execution, design standards, and quality management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred qualifications: supervisory experience; experience managing multidisciplinary teams; experience supporting resource planning and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design staff and coordinate daily workload assignments.
• Mentor employees through coaching, technical guidance, and career development.
• Ensure design deliverables meet client requirements, quality expectations, and company standards.
• Coordinate priorities with project managers and engineering leadership.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
• Monitor project schedules, resource utilization, and quality objectives.
• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
• Support operational initiatives and client relationship development.
• Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
