Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a motivated undergraduate intern to join our Sourcing Division within the Integrated Supply Chain for the summer. You will develop and maintain SQL and DAX queries, design ETL processes, and create Power BI visualizations to drive data-driven decisions.

Gain hands-on experience in a global company, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to sourcing projects while receiving mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, IS, Business Analytics).
• Proficiency in SQL and DAX for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Experience with data visualization tools, especially Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL and DAX queries to support data analysis.
• Utilize SQL Server and Snowflake for data storage and management.
• Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity.
• Create and manage data visualizations using Power BI for actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Prepare data-driven presentations and analytical solutions to communicate findings.
• Support in developing decision-making tools within Toro’s Integrated Supply Chain.
• Participate in sourcing and supply chain projects and contribute to process improvements.
