Job summary

Komatsu, a global leader in heavy equipment, invites students to join its 12-week Supply Chain Internship in Chicago. You will shadow experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and gain hands-on experience in lead time reduction, delivery optimization, and procurement analytics.

You will develop tools for the procurement/planning team, including Power BI dashboards to monitor quality, delivery, and cost, while applying your coursework to business challenges in a structured learning

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Supply Chain or Data Analytics program.
• Experience in work-study programs, school or volunteer leadership roles preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables), Power BI, and other summary/analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and collaborate with experienced supply chain professionals on real projects.
• Develop tools for procurement/planning, including Power BI dashboards for quality, delivery, and cost.
