Job summary

Gorbel® in the United States is seeking a data analytics intern to support BI reporting and data analysis initiatives. You will help build basic dashboards, learn Power BI, SQL, and Python, and collaborate with teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Introductory SQL knowledge; coursework or projects preferred.
• Exposure to Python or R through coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with Web APIs and data integration concepts.
• Awareness of data warehousing and ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
• Intro to development tools like Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating basic BI reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Support data collection and organize data from multiple sources.
• Learn SQL and Python for simple queries or scripts.
• Help document business requirements and build basic data models.
• Work with ERP/CRM to convert reports into BI dashboards.
• Publish and schedule reports to meet business needs.
• Perform basic data validation and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Participate in learning Azure services (ADF, ADLS) and Databricks basics.
