Louis, MO, is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Analyst who will bridge general ledger accounting with financial reporting and analytics, building Power BI dashboards from ERP data to support accurate close and decision‑making. You will prepare journal entries, perform month‑end close, generate internal reports, and collaborate with leadership to translate needs into actionable insights, while strengthening controls and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Experience preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close.
• Hands-on experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Strong Excel skills (including pivots, lookups, and data analysis functions).
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of variances.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and recurring entries.
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with established timelines.
• Assist with audit support and documentation as needed.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting documentation.
• Prepare recurring management and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards using data from ERP and other systems.
• Develop meaningful visualizations and metrics that clearly communicate financial results and trends.
• Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes through automation and improved data modeling.
• Partner with accounting, finance, and other departments to enhance data availability and usability.
