Job summary

Mars Inc. seeks a Retail Insights Analyst to join its Retail Analytics and Insights Team. You’ll ensure a complete, reliable reporting suite for Mars Snacking’s retail team and deliver actionable insights to enable effective in-store execution.

The role emphasizes strong data skills and excellent communication to field management. You will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance reports, support scorecards, and handle ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required with emphasis in business management, project management or technology management
• 2+ years in Business/Category Analytics or Sales analytics in a field-based environment
• Strong ability to analyze data and translate into actionable insights
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI proficiency
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Support the Power BI suite of retail reports
• Provide business trends and opportunities to field management
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues
• Incorporate cross-functional data into retail reporting
• Support retail scorecards and incentive programs
• Create ad hoc reports for the field
