Job summary

Nature’s Bakery, recently joined the Mars family, is seeking a Sr Data Scientist Analyst to enable data-driven decision making across the organization. You will partner with Sales, Supply, and Category teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance.

The role supports key demand processes (S&OP, IBP, Customer Meetings, Forecasting) with clean reporting to drive quick insights and decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-4 years of experience in a data, analytics, or technical role (CPG or retail experience a plus)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modeling, data manipulation, scenario analysis)
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Working knowledge of a programming language such as Python or SQL
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity
• Ability to simplify complex analyses into clear, business-relevant insights
• Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Experience working with SAP

Responsibilities

• Generate insights to support strategic decision-making across omni-channel sales, supply planning, and category management
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards in Power BI leveraging Scintilla, Nielsen, and internal supply chain data
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact revenue, distribution, and execution
• Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for business stakeholders
• Improve and automate data processes and workflows, including data collection, validation, and integration across multiple sources
• Support ad hoc analysis and deep dives to inform key business initiatives and leadership decisions
