Job Description

We have immediate openings for Power BI Customer Engineers. This remote, salaried role offers great benefits and involves working with some of the largest companies worldwide, primarily F1000. You will focus on customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of SQL initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert.

Customer Engineers typically deliver services via Microsoft Teams.

Salary Range: $100K - $120K depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct standard product workshops and training sessions.
  • Perform in-depth product reviews and health assessments.
  • Review product implementations post-deployment.
  • Assess product upgrades and migrations.
  • Conduct system performance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact, providing visibility, advanced support, and problem resolution for corporate clients, including high-level management issues.
Required Experience:
  • Enterprise support and administration in Power BI, Power BI Embedded, SQL performance tuning, clustering, Always On Availability Groups, High Availability.
  • Extensive Power BI development experience, including embedded solutions and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in DAX, data warehouse concepts, and integration.
  • Experience with SQL Server on Azure/other clouds, versions 2012 and above.
  • Architectural expertise in Data Platforms, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and technical training delivery.
  • Preferred certifications and consulting/customer-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse is a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Power BI solution design, embedded development, and data modeling.
  • Development in DAX, Power Query M, Power BI Service/Desktop.
  • Data connectivity with SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Azure, AWS.
  • Custom visualizations, security features, indexing, performance tuning, data partitioning.
  • Database schema management, high availability, disaster recovery, and SQL Server reporting and analysis services.
