What You'll Do

This role will primarily provide production triage support for all applications included in the scope of this project, and secondarily serve as an individual contributor to support multiple teams building user-facing features on web and mobile platforms. Though anticipated to be infrequent, 24/7 on-call emergency support, including weekends and holidays, may be required. This role will partner closely with the team Engineering Lead to implement standards and best practices.

Primary Expectations

• Experience working in agile software development on a cross-functional team
• Able to navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
• Support the development and communication of milestones and delivers upon their area of expertise
• Actively participate in conversations and planning sessions with team members and stakeholders
• Willingness to partner with senior practitioners, and be receptive to mentorship
• Able to identify risks and communicate to leadership, provides recommendations to mitigate identified risks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholder engagement
• Meet customer expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of engineering experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge in at least one frontend technology stack
• Experience with legacy Liferay or Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP)
• Experience with Java web development
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical product-related issues
• Public Trust Clearance

Preferred qualifications

• Experience managing tracking systems of incident logs and conveying user feedback to teams responsible for product development
