Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas, seeks a Power & Analog Design Engineer II for onsite work. The role focuses on analog/power conversion circuitry, circuit-level architecture, and collaboration with ECAD drafters in a DoD-cleared environment.

Requires a Master's in EE/CE or related STEM, hands-on experience with buck/boost converters, and proficiency with Matlab/ LTSpice/Saber. Active DoD Secret clearance is required after day one.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major.
• Design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with buck, boost, buck-boost converters.
• Experience with analog electronics design including FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, and comparators.
• Experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, LTSpice, Saber or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with circuit-level architecture development.
• Design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry for board-mounted applications.
• Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing with moderate senior support.
• Support integration and verification in engineering labs.
• Define schedules for circuit level tasks and meet project timelines.
• Engage in professional growth and communicate technical topics clearly.
